  1. Jul 25,  · I had the same album digitized at 96/ Both the LP and SACD were mastered simultaneously from the same tape. There wasn’t a person in the room who thought the SACD sounded better or even nearly as good as the 96/24 vinyl rip. The engineer said “I’m not at all surprised”. So tommys, enjoy your digital!
  2. Mar 12,  · album from the legendary Rock chameleon, his first studio album in ten years and his 30th studio recording. The album was produced by long-term collaborator Tony Visconti and was recorded in New York. In recent years, radio silence has been broken only by endless speculation, rumor and wishful thinking/5(1).
  3. "Amazing and unknown performance from legendary UK jazz prog fusion rockers Nucleus led by trumpet player Ian Carr. A rare set as regular guitarist Chris Spedding who was absent for unknow reasons was not replaced by another guitarist (often Ray Russell) but by a second keyboard player: Hywel Thomas.
  4. out of 5 stars Secret Knowledge '- So Hard Reviewed in the United States on July 30, Secret Knowledge, who exemplified the progressive house movement of the mids, only released one album, SO HARD.4/5(1).
  5. I like the aesthetic of it. I do a lot of online digging too, but find it easier to remember artists, instrumentalist, labels with a physical vinyl to flip over and look at. If you want to know the label, who played on the album ect. with samples online you got to google, when an lp .
  6. Mar 12,  · A great album and one I think could be done live but as we all know that just will not happen, this could be why it sounds so good as the pressure of doing this live is so hard. The kids will love this and if they don't well if Bowie can't get you into music then nothing will/5(1).
  7. Aug 02,  · Your appraisal of the two sides of the LP also raises the issue of CD versus vinyl releases. I bought Lifes Rich Pageant on vinyl – it was to be three years before I bought my frst CD – and can see that I would have certainly played side one more than side two. Looking forward to the rest of the series from you and The Robster.
  8. This album fills a recent void for some well-made, thoughtful, kick ass Alternative Metal. I got this CD on pre-order. It arrived the day of release. I put it in the player & I was immediately thrilled. I continued to dig on song after song. Instant classic/5(38).
